Abstract

This paper takes the andalusite mine in Changchonggou,Subei County,Gansu Province as the research object,and systematically analyzes the geological characteristics of the deposit and the metallogenic geological background.The Changchonggou andalusite deposit is located in the Zhongqilian block,mainly occurring in the andalusite-biotite-sericite phyllite of the Huerdi Formation of the Jixian System.Through exploration methods such as surface reconnaissance and surface engineering exposure,four andalusite mineralized belts have been newly discovered and delineated.Combined with the geological background of the area and the geological characteristics of the deposit,it is considered that the deposit was formed at the end of the Qingbaikou Period,and the regional low-temperature dynamic metamorphism caused the aluminous protolith to undergo andalusite mineralization,and it is judged to be a regional metamorphic phyllite-type andalusite deposit.This discovery provides a reference basis and prospecting direction for the exploration of the same type of minerals in the region.
