Abstract
The management of severe periodontitis poses significant challenges owing to the severe damage to the peri-odontal supportive tissues.The formulation of a therapeutic regimen necessitates comprehensive consideration of tooth ex-traction strategy,ways of soft and hard tissue augmentation,and prosthetic treatment design.This paper presents a com-plex case of generalized stage Ⅳ grade C periodontitis accompanied by tooth loss.Through the implementation of initial periodontal therapy,micro crestal flap-alveolar ridge preservation(MCF-ARP)following extraction,free gingival graft,dental implant restoration,and periodontal maintenance,the therapeutic objectives of regaining health and reconstructing functionality are successfully attained.This case report provides potential scientific insights and a systematic approach for the treatment of such cases of severe periodontitis.关键词
