Abstract
Objective To explore the rehabilitation effect of the intervention of acupoint massage combined with acupoint application based on the midnight-noon ebb-flow timing during the cardiac rehabilitation in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods A total of 120 patients with CHF who were treated at Xuzhou City Hospital of TCM from August 2022 to August 2023 were enrolled and were divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method,with 60 cases in each group.The control group received routine acupoint massage combined with acupoint application,and the observation group received the acupoint massage combined with acupoint application based on the midnight-noon ebb-flow timing.Before intervention and 2 weeks after intervention,the indexes related to cardiac function(left ventricular end-diastolic diameter[LVEDD],the ratio of late diastolic peak velocity to early diastolic peak velocity[A/E],left ventricular ejection fraction[LVEF],plasma N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide[NT-proBNP])and the exercise tolerance(6 min walking distance[6 MWD])were evaluated in the two groups.The quality of life(Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire[MLHFQ])of the two groups before intervention and after 6 months of follow-up was evaluated.Results After 2 weeks of intervention,the levels of LVEDD,A/E and NT-proBNP in both groups decreased,and the level of LVEF increased(P<0.05).Moreover,the levels of LVEDD,A/E and NT-proBNP in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the level of LVEF in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After 2 weeks of intervention,the 6MWD in both groups increased compared with that before intervention(P<0.05),and the 6MWD in the observation group was greater than that in the control group(P<0.05).After 6 months of follow-up,the MLHFQ scores of both groups were lower than those before intervention(P<0.05),and the score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The acupoint massage combined with acupoint application based on the midnight-noon ebb-flow timing can improve cardiac function and exercise tolerance in patients with CHF,and improve their quality of life.关键词
