Professor SHAO Zhengyang's Experience in Stage-Based Treatment of Pediatric Allergic Rhinitis

Abstract
Professor SHAO Zhengyang believes that the pathological factors of pediatric allergic rhinitis are wind,phlegm,deficiency,and stasis,with the disease location in the lung and close relations to the spleen and kidney.Based on clinical symptoms,it is divided into the acute stage and remission stage.During the acute stage,wind pathogen invasion is dominant,accompanied by phlegm,stasis,and deficiency.The treatment fo-cuses on dispersing wind,unblocking the orifices,resolving phlegm,and activating collaterals.During the re-mission stage,healthy qi deficiency is the main concern,and the treatment emphasizes strengthening healthy qi,fortifying the spleen,and nourishing the lung.Additionally,therapies such as pediatric Tuina,aroma-therapy,auricular acupressure,moxibustion,and intradermal needle therapy are combined to integrate inter-nal and external treatments,achieving favorable clinical outcomes.A case example is included for verification.关键词
