Professor LI Zhishan's Experience in Treating Exogenous Fever in Children Using the"Simultaneous Treatment of Three Yang"and"Protecting Yang to Consolidate the Root"Method
摘要
Abstract
Professor LI Zhishan believes that the etiology of exogenous febrile disease in children is di-verse and cannot be generalized.However,it can be simplified by integrating a holistic view with syndrome dif-ferentiation.He proposes the general treatment principles of"treating cold"and"treating heat"——using the modified empirical formula Yinqiao Chaiqin Baihu Tang(银翘柴芩白虎汤)for heat patterns,and the modified Sufang Qianghuo Tang(苏防羌活汤)for cold patterns.Based on the characteristics of children's organs and the progression patterns of diseases,he emphasizes seizing the initiative in treatment by applying the"simultane-ous treatment of three yang"method.During treatment,he differentiates between deficiency and excess,as well as yin and yang.He employs medications with both cold and hot properties and adopts a dual approach to resolve both exterior and interior syndromes.At the same time,he emphasizes discontinuing medication once the illness is cured,while also protecting the spleen and stomach to preserve yang and consolidate the founda-tion.Two proven cases are attached for verification.关键词
