Professor MENG Xianlan's Experience in Differentiating and Treating Tic Disorders in Children
摘要
Abstract
Professor MENG Xianlan believes that tic disorders in children primarily originate from liver wind,and emphasizes that internal heat is the fundamental cause of the disease.Based on different clinical manifestations,tic disorders are classified into three types:damp-heat accumulating in the liver,gallbladder depression with phlegm obstruction,and spleen deficiency with liver hyperactivity.The treatment principles are soothing the liver and clearing heat,warming the gallbladder and resolving phlegm,and strengthening the spleen and soothing the liver.Starting from the pattern identification and treatment of the liver and gallbladder,the approach focuses on clearing heat,assisted by dispelling wind,emphasizing treating the disease by ad-dressing its root cause while considering both the root and branch aspects.This regulates the pivot mechanism,calms the liver wind,and thereby stops the tics naturally.A case example is included for verification.关键词
