Abstract
[Objective]To evaluate the heavy metal pollution status of economic forest soil in the central and western Inner Mongolia Autono-mous Region.[Method]A total of 458 soil samples(0-20 cm)from 6 leagues(cities)in the central and western leagues(cities)of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region were collected for Pb Cd,Cu,Zn,Ni,Cr,As and Hg.A total of 8 heavy metal content analyses were conduc-ted,and the soil pollution status was evaluated using the soil accumulation index(Igeo)method and the potential ecological hazard risk index(RI)method.[Result]The results showed that the content of Pb,Cd,Cu,Zn,Ni,Cr,As,and Hg in the economic forest soil in the study area was lower than the screening value for soil pollution risk in agricultural land;the geo-accumulation index(Igeo)of heavy metals Pb,Cu,Zn,Ni,Cr,As,and Hg in 6 leagues(cities)is less than 0,indicating no soil pollution;the Cd(Igeo)levels in Baotou City and Bayannur City are between 0 and 1,indicating mild soil pollution.The potential ecological risk index(RI)of economic forest soil in 6 leagues(cities)is less than 150,which belongs to minor pollution.The average potential ecological hazard risk index(RI)of the central and western Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is 119.70,indicating that the soil is at a slight pollution.[Conclusion]The pollution hazards of 8 heavy metals in the soil of economic forests in the central and western Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region are relatively light,and the ecological risks of heavy metals in the soil are low.关键词
