The Current State and Prospect of Research on Specialty Agriculture at Home and Abroad

Abstract
Developing specialty agriculture is an important approach to realizing rural revitalization.It bears both theoretical and practical significance to review the evolution and hot topics of research on specialty agriculture domestically and abroad.Using bibliometric methods,this study analyzes 947 papers on specialty agriculture published in core domestic and international journals since 2000.The findings reveal that domestic research closely aligns with our national policy needs,while international research emphasizes the ecological value of specialty agriculture.Methodologically,both literatures have generally shifted from normative to empirical approaches.Regarding research hotspots,domestic studies focus primarily on industrial upgrading,sectoral integration of specialty agriculture,and its role in common prosperity;while international studies address consumer perception and quality enhancement of specialty agricultural products,specialty agriculture under climate change,and its socio-economic and ecological benefits from a village-level perspective.The research field is structured around four sub-systems,namely,resources,production factors,industrial organizations,and actors,which,through sufficient interaction,jointly deliver higher industrial efficiency,increased farmer income,and sustainable rural development.Future efforts should be made on refining the evaluation system for specialty agriculture development,deepening the understanding of its industrial evolution mechanisms,and promoting interdisciplinary research.关键词
