PDM-to-PCM Conversion Design Based on Improved CIC Architecture

Abstract
To improve the performance of converting pulse density modulation(PDM)signals to pulse code modulation(PCM)signals,a conversion scheme based on an enhanced cascaded integrator comb(CIC)filter is proposed.By optimizing the conventional CIC structure,properly configuring the orders of the two-stage filters,and introducing a sharpening factor,passband flatness is effectively improved,enabling high-fidelity conversion of low-frequency signals.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves high-fidelity PDM-to-PCM conversion while effectively suppressing high-frequency noise and aliasing components.The algorithm program design is completed on FPGA,and the converted data is subjected to spectrum analysis.The experi-mental results verified the effectiveness of the proposed scheme in engineering applications.关键词
