Systematic Calibration and Error Compensation of Fiber-Optic IMU Based on Multi-Positions Continuous Flipping

Abstract
The high-precision calibration and error compensation of fiber-optic IMU under complex error mod-els,as well as the calibration and error compensation methods based on multi-positions continuous flipping,are focused on,effectively solving the problem of low pointing accuracy and calibration equipment accuracy in high-precision calibration and measurement of fiber-optic IMU.Firstly,taking the multi-positions continuous flipping calibration of fiber-optic IMU as the main line,a simplified multi-positions calibration algorithm is de-rived,which effectively reduces the number of equations solved in the entire system and simplifies the calibra-tion process.Then,to improve the measurement accuracy of fiber-optic IMU,an adaptive error parameter com-pensation method and optimal error parameter estimation strategy are proposed based on the calibration error model.Finally,the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method are further verified through mathemati-cal simulation and physical testing,and the influence of initial pointing error and turntable position error on the calibration results is analyzed,demonstrating the engineering application value of the proposed method.关键词
