Abstract

To address the issues of excessive deflection and low utilization of the lower space in double-layer cable flexible support structures,this study based on a fishery-photovoltaic complementary power generation project in a central-southern province of China,investigates deflection control methods to optimize the support design.This Paper systematically examines the impact of four key factors on the deflection of flexible supports.The results indicate that the pre-tension of the component cables exhibits a significant negative correlation with deflection,and increasing its value effectively reduces deflection under both wind pressure and wind suction conditions.In contrast,increasing the pre-tension and sag of the main load-bearing cables only reduces deflection under wind pressure conditions.The introduction of wind-resistant cables can reduce deflection under wind suction conditions by up to 50%.It is recommended to prioritize the combined use of adjusting the pre-tension of the component cables and installing wind-resistant cables in engineering design to achieve effective deflection control.
