Abstract
The disturbance effects of caisson construction in soft soil regions on adjacent underground pipelines pose a significant challenge to service safety of caisson.In this study,a three-dimensional finite element model was established based on a caisson project for a power tunnel in Hangzhou.The multi-dimensional impact mechanisms of the caisson sinking on the underground pipelines at different distances were systematically investigated.A joint opening displacement calculation model was developed to investigate the impact of caisson sinking on the joint opening displacement of pipelines.The results indicated that the pipelines exhibited a proximity-dependent displacement response during the caisson construction.The significant influence boundary was 0.67 times the caisson depth away from the outer wall of caisson with a low risk of joint failure in rigid pipelines.The findings can provide technical support for pipeline protection during power tunnel caisson construction in soft soil areas.关键词
