Abstract
To enhance the seismic performance of connection joints between steel columns and concrete walls of valve hall,considering the issues existing in traditional hinge supports,such as asymmetric lateral stiffness,easy instability of nodes,and torsion of steel columns,a novel joint configuration incorporating bent lateral-resistant plates and stiffening ribs is proposed.Based on finite element simulations,the effects of key parameters(the dimensions of bents,the plate layout and the height of rib plates)on joint stiffness,stress distribution,and mechanical behavior were analyzed.The research demonstrates that adding stiffening ribs optimizes stress transfer paths and improves joint buckling resistance.The equivalent stiffness of the bent lateral-resistant plates increases with greater plate width and thickness.Through a dual-dimensional optimization strategy,improvements have been achieved in the symmetry of lateral stiffness on both sides of the steel column and reduction in torsional irregularity risk.关键词
