摘要
Abstract
While urban spatial expansion is driven by multiple factors, traditional two-dimensional methodologies are insufficient to represent the complex 3D patterns resulting from high-rise building proliferation. Therefore, characterizing 3D space through building volumes has gained prominence as a research focus.Based on 3D building data from the central urban area of Xiangyang City,we employed 3D landscape metrics, spatial statistics(Getis-Ord Gi*,Moran's I),and structural equation model(SEM)to investigate the spatio-temporal differentiation characteris-tics of urban 3D spatial patterns from multiple perspectives. The findings reveal that①the 3D spatial structure exhibits significant policy-orient-ed differentiation, extending predominantly along a northeast-southwest axis.②Protected by restrictive policies, the old urban core manifests a"low-rise but high-density"morphology,while newly developed areas demonstrate"high-rise and sparse"forms.③SEM-based driving mecha-nism analysis indicates that policy, economic, and natural factors exert differentiated driving effects on the formation of Xiangyang's 3D spatial pattern. The study further reveals interactive enhancement effects among policy guidance, market forces, and natural factors in shaping the urban 3D space. Therefore, there is an urgent need to construct a ternary driving model of"rigid policy constraints-flexible market responses-natural baseline mediation",which can provide quantitative decision-making support for 3D development of territorial space.关键词
