可调散射范围光栅耦合器的设计与分析
Design and analysis of a tunable scattering range grating coupler

Abstract
Traditional grating couplers face the challenge of low coupling efficiency due to momentum-space mode mismatch when dealing with large-divergence-angle light sources.This study proposes a design method for a grating coupler with tunable scattering range by employing the finite-difference time-domain(FDTD)algorithm.By adjusting the scattering angle of the grat-ing units,the scattering range of the coupler can be flexibly controlled,thereby optimizing the mode field matching between the light source and the grating coupler.Simulation results demonstrate that the designed single-etch silicon nitride grating coupler without a metal reflector achieves a coupling efficiency of 63%(-2.01 dB)with an 850 nm vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser(VCSEL),significantly reducing coupling loss compared with conventional grating couplers while exhibiting low sensitivity to the incident light angle.关键词
