Abstract
In the process of ultrafine grinding,organic grinding aids such as triethanolamine(TEA)could affect the dewatering efficiency of the material,while physical modification could ensure the optimization of grinding aid dosage and synergistic regulation of grinding efficiency.In this paper,ultrasonic-modified TEA was used to grind gypsum,and the mechanism of ultrasonic-modified TEA in the process of ultra-fine grinding of raw gypsum was explored.The TEA solution and ultra-fine grinding products were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis.The results showed that when the ultrasonic modification time was 25 min,TEA could reduce the D90 of the ultra-fine grinding product of gypsum from 61.98 μm to 28.02 μm,and the specific surface area increase from 417.2 cm2/g to 1 980.6 cm2/g.Ultrasonic modification increase the proportion of alcohol hydroxyl group and free water in TEA solution by 7.81 and 23.09 percentage points,respectively.The hydration of free water with calcium ions on the surface of gypsum and the adsorption degree of alcohol hydroxyl group on the surface of gypsum are improved.The viscosity of raw gypsum slurry is reduced by 23.66 mPa·s,and the diffraction peak intensity of(020)crystal plane of ultrafine grinding product is obviously weakened,which finally strengthen the grinding effect of TEA on raw gypsum.关键词
