Strategic Technological Innovation and Future Industrial Layout of Enterprises

Abstract
The future industries and their prioritized layouts hold significant importance for the development of new-quality productive forces.Nevertheless,the development of future industries necessitates cutting-edge and disruptive technological innova-tions.These highly uncertain technological innovations are unlikely to achieve favorable outcomes solely through the research and de-velopment(R&D)endeavors of enterprises themselves.Appropriate government R&D support,which is strategic technological in-novation oriented towards national mission tasks,is indispensable.This paper has compiled a dictionary for future industry layout and performed textual analysis on the annual reports of listed companies and patents.It has established indicators for strategic tech-nological innovation and future industry layout at the enterprise level and conducted empirical analysis.The findings indicate that strategic technological innovation facilitates the future industry layout of enterprises via cross-organizational resource aggregation mechanisms and innovation talent aggregation mechanisms.The facilitating effect is more pronounced when enterprises are of small scale,capital-intensive,and located in large and medium-sized cities.To some extent,it also restrains the short-term perfor-mance of enterprises.This paper contributes to understanding the effectiveness of strategic technological innovation in promoting future industry layout from the micro-enterprise level and puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions.关键词
