摘要

Abstract

Acid mine drainage(AMD)contains a high content of heavy metal iron.If directly discharged into water bodies without treatment,it will cause serious harm to the ecological environment,and excessive iron intake by the human body will also have toxic effects on health.Therefore,research on methods for removing iron from AMD is extremely urgent.Among the current methods for removing heavy metal iron,the microbial method has been widely applied due to its characteristics such as low treatment cost,good effect,simple operation,small investment,low possibility of secondary pollution,and recyclable utilization of some products.When removing iron from acid mine drainage(AMD)using microbial methods,it can be mainly divided into the following 4 categories:microbial flocculation,microbial adsorption,microbial mineralization,and sulfate-reducing bacteria(SRB)method.The applications of these four microbial methods in iron removal from AMD were summarized.The mechanisms of different methods,the research status of influencing factors,and existing problems were introduced.Suggestions and prospects for subsequent research were put forward.
