Research Progress on Application of Non-destructive Testing Technology for OCTG
摘要
Abstract
The oil country tubular goods(OCTG)is core equipment in the field of oil and gas development.They are long-term in service in extreme working conditions of high temperature,high pressure and corrosive media.The harsh working conditions may induce various forms of damage such as corrosion,fatigue and wear.If not managed in time,it may eventually lead to pipe failure,which in turn may cause serious safety accidents and economic losses.To effectively avoid such accidents,it is crucial to carry out regular non-destructive testing.By systematically analyzing the main failure mechanisms and defect characteristics of OCTG,the physical principles,technical advantages of ultrasonic testing(UT),magnetic flux leakage testing(MFL),eddy current testing(ECT)and infrared thermography(IRT)are explianed,as well as their current practical application status in the defect detection of OCTG.It also deeply explores the detection methods and application strategies for different types of defects.Finally,it is proposed that technologies such as multimodal fusion,intelligent diagnosis,and downhole online monitoring are the development directions for future OCTG inspection.These technologies provide a reference for the engineering application and system selection of OCTG non-destructive testing technology.关键词
