Abstract

In order to ensure the safety of direct-connected connection special threaded joints,the connection strength of the joint is systematically analyzed using three methods:theoretical calculation,finite element simulation,and physical testing.Research shows that the strength of joint connections is determined by the minimum strength of the dangerous section of the pipe body,external thread,and internal thread,and the internal thread is determined as the dangerous section.The failure process of the joint under tensile conditions was numerically verified through finite element simulation,and the results showed that the error between the connection strength and the theoretical calculation value was only 3.4%,fully verifying the rationality of the theoretical model.Finally,the fullt-scale physical tensile test was conducted for verification,and the test failure load was consistent with the theoretical calculation value,and the failure characteristics were completely consistent with the theoretical analysis and finite element simulation prediction.The results can provide theoretical and experimental support for the structural optimization design,precise performance prediction,and practical engineering application of direct connected special threaded joints.
