Abstract

A power generation performance analytical method for large-scale wind turbines is proposed in response to the need to enhance power generation efficiency amidst the declining subsidies for wind power generation.Based on SCADA system data and in conjunction with IEC 61400-12-2:2013 and GB/T 33225-2016 standards,the reasons for differences in power generation are decomposed into control strategies,wind resources,reliability,and other factors by constructing models for actual power curve fitting,wind frequency distribution calculation,and theoretical power generation evaluation.The method adopts the"cross-fitting"technique:using the power curve before optimization and the wind frequency after optimization to calculate theoretical electricity output to isolate the impact of wind resources,and matching power curves from different periods with the same wind frequency to quantify the improvement effect of control strategies.Through the case verification of an offshore wind power project in Guangdong,it is found that the optimization of control strategy significantly increased the power in the wind speed area above 7 m/s,and the theoretical power generation increased by 7.97%.However,the reduction of wind speed by 0.87 m/s resulted in the reduction of theoretical power generation by 28.03%,coupled with the increase of 4.60%in the superimposed grid power restriction,the overall power generation decreased by 24.58%.This method offers a quantitative decision-making basis for evaluating the effectiveness of power generation enhancement measures and for selecting subsequent optimization directions.It has high engineering application value.
