Hollowing Out of Knowledge and Skills:The Reshaping of Labor Processes in Knowledge Intensive Industries by AI Models:Inspiration from Marx's Labor Process Theory

Abstract
Artificial intelligence(AI)models have made breakthrough progress in multiple fields such as natural language processing,speech recognition,image recognition,and video generation,demonstrating powerful capabilities in intelligent emergence,natural language understanding,and multimodal content generation.The labor process in knowledge intensive industries has also undergone fundamental changes in response to the iteration of large models.On the one hand,the big model has triggered a knowledge productivity revolution,bringing about a positive reshaping of agile production,skill en-hancement,labor liberation,and continuous improvement.On the other hand,the big model has triggered a panic of tech-nological unemployment,and knowledge producers'long-term dependence on the big model has led them into a quagmire of knowledge and skills hollowing out,subjectivity weakening,self-worth negation,and useless class fantasies.Drawing lessons from the past,this article places the reshaping of the labor process in knowledge intensive industries triggered by the big models in the historical context of technological development,based on the Marxist labor view,and deeply reveals the profound impact of the big models on the living conditions,labor rights,and employment prospects of knowledge workers.On this basis,clarify the relationship between human workers and AI models in the labor process;Emphasize the re-exami-nation of the value and significance of labor;Establish a lifelong learning philosophy and maintain regular updates of knowl-edge and skills;Building a composite brain through human-machine collaboration and mastering the superpowers of control-ling intelligent technology;Ensure the labor rights of intelligent vulnerable groups and build a safe occupational ecosystem.关键词
