Monitoring effects of sexually attractive traps for Chilo suppressalis in Jiujiang rice-growing area,Jiangxi Province

Abstract
[Objective]This study aimed to accurately monitor the occurrence dynamics of the Chilo suppressalis in Jiujiang rice area,and to evaluate the green prevention and control effects of large-scale generalized induced secondary borer.[Method]Three monitoring points were set up in three counties:Duchang,Yongxiu and Hukou,according to the local rice planting time and evening;then the second chemical borer trap and lamp trap equipment were arranged in the field;and finally,the number of attractants was regularly observed and recorded day by day,and the effects of the traps were determined according to the number of attractants,and the occurrence and control period of the second borer were monitored.[Result](1)The total annual number of insects attracted in 6 traps at 3 monitoring points in Duchang,Yongxiu and Hukou reached 8 918,4 034 and 3 244,respectively,and the total number of moths in a single trap was 1 486.3,672.3 and 540.7,respectively.(2)The population of the two chemical borers showed a relatively consistent trend and dynamics,and roughly occurred in four generations,namely the wintering generation,the first generation,the second generation and the third generation.The development progress of the second moth was basically similar in the same rice planting area,and had little to do with the early and late rice planting.[Conclusion]The use of the borer attraction devices can be used for accurate monitoring and prediction of the borers,and can also be used for large-scaled green prevention and control.The trapping devices should be planted early rather than late,focusing on attracting the overwintering generation and the second generation of adults,and it is recommended to use qualified products with pesticide registration certificates,replace the trap cores in time according to the expiration date,with suitable traps,and pay attention to the height and release the density during the use.关键词
