Buffer and Diversion System for Rare Earth Magnetic Separators Based on Material Flow Feedback

Abstract
Most traditional rare earth magnetic separator equipment lacks a preliminary screening mechanism for raw materials,resulting in ineffective interception of oversized feedstock entering the system.To address this issue,a buffer and diversion system for rare earth magnetic separators based on material flow feedback is designed,aiming to improve the grade and recovery rate of final concentrates.The integrated screening process of the system is elaborated.By utilizing a closed-loop control system comprising a PLC and high-precision pressure sensors,the impact load of the material flow is monitored in real time,enabling dynamic adjustment of the buffer deflector's tilt angle.Through steady-state modeling and dynamic analysis of the system,simulation results verify that it maintains stable mechanical responses even under multi-order modal vibrations,meeting the industrial requirements for control intensity in the magnetic separation process.Comparative experiments with conventional equipment demonstrate that the system can effectively intercept over 95%of potentially harmful large-volume materials.The experiments confirm that the system exhibits a relatively smooth"pressure-flow"relationship curve under high-flow conditions,validating the rationality of its structural design and control strategy.关键词
