Treating Chronic Heart Failure Based on the Theory of the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian
摘要
Abstract
Chronic heart failure is a clinical syndrome primarily characterized by dyspnea,fatigue,and fluid retention,which falls under the category of heart failure diseases in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).The condition of heart failure is located in the heart and is related to other organs such as the liver,spleen,lungs,and kidneys."Deficiency""stasis"and"edema"are the characteristic pathologies of heart failure.The main principles of treatment for heart failure are to tonify Qi and Yang,and to activate blood circulation and promote diuresis.The bladder meridian of the Foot-Taiyang is not only closely connected to the location of heart failure in terms of meridian circulation,but also its functions and indications are closely related to the pathophysiological characteristics and treatment principles of heart failure.Based on this,the author proposes the treatment of heart failure from the perspective of the bladder meridian of Foot-Taiyang.Then,through literature,clinical and experimental research related to the treatment of heart failure from the bladder meridian of Foot-Taiyang,combined with personal clinical cases,the rationality is demonstrated,thereby providing ideas and references for the treatment of heart failure.关键词
