加味四物汤对全膝关节置换术后老年患者气血恢复效果的临床研究
Clinical Study on the Effects of Modified Siwu Decoction on the Recovery of Qi and Blood in Elderly Patients After Total Knee Arthroplasty

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of a modified Siwu Decoction on the recovery of Qi and blood in elderly patients following total knee arthroplasty(TKA).Methods:Eighty patients who underwent TKA at Hongdu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanchang from March 2023 to March 2024 were enrolled and divided into two groups based on their preferences:the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)group(receiving routine postoperative flexion-extension exercises and prescribed modified Siwu Decoction)and the control group(receiving only routine postoperative flexion-extension exercises).The differences in hematologic indicators(Hb,HCT,APTT,D-Dimer),knee joint swelling,TCM scores for Qi and blood deficiency,HSS scores,and 6MWT results were compared between the two groups.Results:After the intervention,the TCM group showed significantly higher Hb and HCT levels at 7 and 14 days postoperatively(P<0.05)and more significant reduction in knee joint swelling(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in APTT and D-Dimer between the groups.At 14 days postoperatively,the TCM group had better TCM scores for Qi and blood deficiency,HSS scores,and 6MWT results compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The modified Siwu Decoction has a positive impact on the recovery of Qi and blood in elderly patients following total knee arthroplasty.关键词
