Research Progress and Prospects of Museum Volunteers in China:COOC-based Knowledge Graph Analysis

Abstract
Volunteers have become an important force in promoting the development of China's museum cause.This study uses the COOC measurement software to conduct a knowledge graph quantitative research on the research literatures of museum volunteers in China from three major databases,namely CNKI,CQVIP,and Wanfang.The results show that from 1988 to 2024,the number of research publications on museum volunteers in China has shown an upward trend,going through three stages:initial germination,local start,and in-depth take-off.The cooperation rates and degrees among authors and research institutions are both low,and no close cooperation network has been formed.The vast majority of publications are in general journals.Research hotspots focus on commenting on the significance and current status of volunteer services in Chinese museums,and analyzing the segmented volunteer groups in Chinese museums.University-museum cooperation,public services,interpretation,participation motivation,small and medium-sized museums,and education are likely to become subsequent research hotspots.In the future,research should continue to advance in terms of diversified research perspectives,systematic research content,and refined research objects,so as to construct a more localized theoretical system with practical guiding significance.关键词
