摘要
Abstract
Nowadays there is no standard in the science game field, making it difficult for science audiences to determine how much they can benefit from science games.Likewise, there are no standards for developing science games, nor are there methods to measure the amount of scientific knowledge in games defined as science-based.Therefore,this paper conducts a quantitative evaluation of the scientific content in science games, building on an analysis of the MDA framework(Mechanics,Dynamics,Aesthetics)of games.By analyzing nearly hundreds rules within the MDA framework for four science-related games with varying levels of influence on expression of science-related knowledge,as well as the hundreds of dynamics and experiences these rules generate,we reveal the actual content of scientific knowledge. The analysis shows that this evaluation method can effectively assess the scientific content of games, helping to ensure that science games place greater emphasis on science-related knowledge.关键词
