颏部三维形态与上气道结构特征的相关性研究
Study on the correlation between three-dimensional morphology of the chin and the upper airway

Abstract
Objective:To analyze the correlation between the three-dimensional morphology of the chin and the mor-phology of the upper airway through cone-beam computed tomography(CBCT)images,and to explore the impact of chin mor-phology on the upper airway.Methods:Thirty adult patients with skeletal Class Ⅰ who received treatment at the Stomatological Hospital of Ningxia Medical University General Hospital from 2024 to 2025 were selected.Mimics 20.0 software was used to measure the three-dimensional morphology of the chin and the upper airway.The correlation between the measured values of chin morphology and those of the upper airway were analyzed.Results:A positive correlation was observed between chin pro-trusion and the total volume of the upper airway(r=0.373,P=0.042),oropharyngeal volume(r=0.477,P=0.008),laryn-gopharyngeal volume(r=0.401,P=0.028),and oropharyngeal cross-sectional area(r=0.448,P=0.013).A positive corre-lation was found between chin depression and the ratio of the sagittal diameter to the transverse diameter of the laryngophary-nx(r=0.432,P=0.017).Chin curvature exhibited a significant negative correlation with oropharyngeal volume(r=-0.416,P=0.022),laryngopharyngeal volume(r=-0.583,P<0.001),and oropharyngeal cross-sectional area(r=-0.517,P=0.003).A negative correlation was noted between chin angle and the ratio of the sagittal diameter to the transverse diameter of the oropharynx(r=-0.362,P=0.047)and laryngopharynx(r=-0.388,P=0.034).Chin width demonstrated a significant positive correlation with laryngopharyngeal volume(r=0.438,P=0.015)and oropharyngeal cross-sectional area(r=0.397,P=0.030).The chin width angle showed a positive correlation with the ratio of the sagittal diameter to the transverse diame-ter of the laryngopharynx(r=0.370,P=0.044).The volume of the lower alveolar process exhibited a significant positive cor-relation with the ratio of the sagittal diameter to the transverse diameter of the oropharynx(r=0.582,P<0.001).The mandib-ular symphysis area demonstrated a positive correlation with the ratio of the sagittal diameter to the transverse diameter of the oropharynx(r=0.505,P=0.004).Conclusion:The three-dimensional morphology of the chin is closely related to the vol-ume,cross-sectional area,and morphology of the oropharynx and laryngopharynx in the upper airway.关键词
