Abstract

Soil salinization makes it difficult for plants to synthesize sufficient indole-3-acetic acid(IAA)to meet their needs.In the context of widespread use of pesticides and chemical agents,we opted for a more environmentally friendly approach using microbial inoculants.In this study,a bacterial strain capable of tolerating salt-alkali stress and producing IAA was isolated and identified as Enterobactersp.through screening for salt-alkali tolerance,siderophore production,nitrogen fixation,and IAA production.The bacterial strain was cultured and applied to rice seedlings under salt-alkali stress.After 21 days,physiological indicators of the rice seedlings were measured.The results showed that the bacterial treatment significantly enhanced root length,plant height,and the activities of various antioxidant enzymes in rice under salt-alkali stress.Through single-factor optimization of fermentation conditions,the optimal parameters were determined as follows:15 g/L starch,10 g/L peptone,4 g/L calcium chloride,0.3 g/L tryptophan,3%inoculation volume,3 days of cultivation,and initial pH of 6.Under these conditions,IAA production increased by 98.45%.The salt-alkali tolerant IAA-producing Enterobactersp.,after fermentation optimization,demonstrated significantly enhanced IAA production.Its application effectively promoted the growth and physiological performance of rice seedlings under salt-alkali stress,providing a green and sustainable microbial solution to address IAA deficiency in plants caused by soil salinization,with both theoretical value and agricultural application prospects.
