摘要

Abstract

Water-saving and drought-resistant rice can be grown in paddy fields,as well as in drylands,hillsides,and newly improved fields.It is drought-resistant,stable in yield,and has wide adaptability,which holds important strategic significance and practical value for ensuring food security and expanding grain planting area.However,this paper found that the development of water-saving and drought-resistant rice in Jiangxi Province faced problems such as a lack of excellent varieties,insufficient cultivation techniques,unclear suitable planting areas and models,and a shortage of supporting policies and measures.Therefore,it put forward measures including strengthening the breeding of high-yield and multi-resistant varieties,enhancing research on supporting cultivation techniques,scientifically planning planting areas and models,innovating variety demonstration and promotion models,and increasing special policy support to accelerate the demonstration and promotion of water-saving and drought-resistant rice in Jiangxi Province.
