Practice and Insights on Agricultural Cooperation between Jiangsu and Pacific Island Countries

Abstract
In recent years,the cooperative relationship between Jiangsu and Pacific Island Countries has developed steadily,and agricultural cooperation plays a significant role in this process.Located in the southern extension area of the"Belt and Road"Initiative,Pacific Island Countries take agriculture as their primary industry,but they are faced with challenges such as weak infrastructure,low productivity,and insufficient grain self-sufficiency rate,thus having strong policy and technical demands for agricultural sustainable development.This also provides broad space and important opportunities for Jiangsu to deepen agricultural cooperation with Pacific Island Countries.This paper explored the practice and insights of agricultural cooperation between Jiangsu and Pacific Island Countries,reviewed the historical background and development process of bilateral cooperation,summarized the current situation and achievements of cooperation,and systematically analyzed the main problems existing in the cooperation process.Countermeasures and suggestions for strengthening agricultural cooperation between Jiangsu and Pacific Island Countries were put forward from aspects such as improving the coordination mechanism,increasing capital investment,focusing on cooperation priorities,and attaching importance to talent cultivation,aiming to provide theoretical reference and practical guidance for deepening bilateral agricultural cooperation.关键词
