Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of self-made buffalo horn beehive decoction in the treatment of ery-thematous scale disease.Methods:One hundred and twenty patients with erythematous scale disease of blood-heat type admitted to Hengyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hunan Province were randomly divided into two groups from January 2023 to December 2024.60 patients in the control group were treated with Xiaoyin Granule,and 60 patients in the observation group were treated with self-made buffalo horn honeycomb soup.Both groups were treated continu-ously for 8 weeks.The treatment effect、incidence of adverse reactions during treatment、TCM syndrome score、pruritus de-gree[visual analogue scale(VAS)]、skin lesion severity[psoriasis lesion area and severity index score(PASI)]and quality of life[dermatology quality of life index(DLQI)]were compared between the two groups.Results:After treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes、skin lesions、itching degree and quality of life in the two groups were all improved,and com-pared with the control group,the scores of PASI、scores of main and secondary syndromes of TCM syndromes、VAS and DLQI in the observation group were all lower after treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the inci-dence of adverse reactions between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05),and the total effective rate was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Self-made Buffalo Beehive Decoction has a good effect on patients with erythema and scales due to blood heat,which can effectively improve the clinical symptoms,reduce skin le-sions and improve the quality of life of patients without increasing adverse reactions.关键词
