摘要

Abstract

The UK government has long advocated the integration of higher education with science and technology,and industrial development to foster the next generation of innovators and tech talents.This paper reviews the UK's initiatives in advancing reforms to the science,technology and education system,formulating strategic policies,and aligning evaluation mechanisms for building a strong scientific and technological talent pipeline.It also examines the progress and policy effects of the UK's flexible use of research programmes,talent-support schemes,and tax incentives to mobilize universities,research institutes,and businesses in the joint cultivation of research and innovation talents.This paper provides insights for promoting the integrated development of education,science and technology,and skilled workforce in China.
