摘要

Abstract

Different screw-helical ribbon impeller structures were designed,including screw-helical ribbon impeller(SHRI),baffle-helical ribbon impeller(BHRI),and oblique screw-helical ribbon impeller(OHRI).A numerical simulation was performed using ANSYS Fluent software on the effect of impeller structure on the flow characteristics of fluid inside the stirred tank.The results show that the designed stirred tank accelerates the renewal of the boundary layer and strengthens the axial and radial flow to enhance the overall flow performance in the stirred tank.The boundary layer can be continuously broken by reducing the distance between the impeller and the tank wall,which results in a faster frequency of fluid renewal.The highest axial flow rate of fluid in SHRI stirred tank is 0.35 m/s,while the highest radial flow rate of fluid in BHRI stirred tank is 1.88 m/s.The shaft power of SHRI,BHRI,and OHRI is 53.2,113.1,and 83.5 kW,respectively.
