Abstract
Objective To observe the application effect of PDCA cycle management in hospital infection management.Methods A total of 200 children admitted to Children's Hospital of Soochow University from January to December 2024 and 23 medical staff participated in hospital infection management were selected as the study objects.According to the admission time,the children were divided into the conventional group(admitted from January to June 2024)and the experimental group(admitted from July to December 2024),with 100 cases in each group.The conventional group received traditional management model,while the experimental group received the PDCA cycle management.The hand hygiene correctness rate,hand hygiene compliance rate,antibiotic utilization rate,and management satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results There were no statistically significant differences in the hand hygiene correctness rate of medical staff and antibiotic utilization rate of children between the two groups(P＞0.05).The experimental group showed higher hand hygiene compliance rate of medical staff and management satisfaction of children's family compared with the conventional group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of PDCA cycle management in hospital infection management can effectively improve hand hygiene compliance rate of medical staff and enhance management satisfaction of children's family,and is recommended for clinical application.关键词
