Abstract

Aiming at the problem of poor heat dissipation of lithium battery pack in the electric vehicle replacement mode,a brazed liquid cooling plate suitable for standard lithium battery pack has been designed,which is brazed with three-layer aluminum plate.In order to ensure that the liquid cooling plate can fit with the battery base plate under 150 kPa water pressure,the maximum deformation during working is required to be less than 0.5 mm.The deformation and stress requirements cannot be met only by increasing the thickness of upper and lower plates.By Solidworks Flow Simulation brazing the fins in the plate,the fin hole spacing is less than 85 mm to meet the deformation requirements.The simulation shows that the heat transfer performance of staggered fin is better than that of straight through fin.The heat transfer efficiency of staggered fin with hole spacing of 10 mm is similar to that of 5 mm,but better than that of staggered fins with hole spacing of 50 mm and 80 mm.The actual test shows that the maximum deformation is less than 0.1 mm when the staggered hole distance is 10 mm,after 150 minutes cooling test,the cooling effect of staggered fins with hole spacing of 10 mm is 12.5℃and 6.3℃lower than spacing of 80 mm and 50 mm.The brazed liquid-cooled plate provides a new solution for the thermal management of swap-style batteries..
