Disenchantment of fashion:the cultural power of medicine
摘要
Abstract
Clothing serves as both the preventive protection of the body and the aesthetic decoration of one's image.However,when the pursuit of aesthetics excessively falls into the irrational fashion trend,it may result in physical oppression and chemical damage to the body,while weakening people's rational thinking abilities.By reviewing relevant literature,this study reveals that traditional fashion criticism within the fashion industry is yet unable to effectively expose the various harms that fashion clothing brings to the body due to its lack of independence and standards.Nevertheless,the professional advantages of medicine can not only elevate the independence of fashion criticism,but also establish a set of objective standards for fashion criticism in terms of critique objects,discussion method,and value orientation.By engaging in fashion criticism,medicine fulfills the cultural value in guiding the rational development of clothing fashion trends,while discovering an effective way to popularize professional knowledge.The reasonable interdisciplinary integration between medicine and fashion actively aligns with the concept of new medical science.关键词
