Abstract

With the continuous development of renewable energy,the utilization of solar energy has become increasingly widespread.The construction scenarios of PV power stations are gradually increasing,among which PV power stations built in desert areas are most prone to wind erosion.This paper first introduces the influencing factors of wind erosion,then studies the impact of PV power station construction on local environment.Finally,the effects of wind erosion on desert PV power stations are analyzed,and prevention and control measures are proposed.The research results show that climatic factors,surface conditions,and external disturbances are the primary contributors to wind erosion.The installation of sand barriers and the planting of vegetation are currently the main measures to mitigate wind erosion in desert PV power stations.For undeveloped desert PV power stations,numerical simulation methods can be considered to verify the PV array wind erosion resistance by increasing the width of the base columns or the diameter of the foundations.For already constructed desert PV power stations,numerical simulation methods can be used to simulate the sand and wind conditions inside the PV power station when sand barriers are arranged at different positions,with different sand barrier widths,and when sand barriers are staggered between PV arrays.This approach helps determine optimal sand barrier configurations to better ensure the safe and stable operation of desert PV power stations and further reduce the cost of PV sand control.
