The Existence of Paradox and Rationality Resolution:Study on the Influencing Mechanism of Continuous Privacy Disclosure Behavior of Mobile Health App Users

Abstract
[Purpose/Significance]Studying the continuous privacy disclosure behavior and privacy paradox pheno-menon of mobile health app users contribute to decision-making support for protecting health privacy security and user pro-file analysis.[Method/Process]The study examined factors influencing mobile health app users'continuous privacy disclo-sure behavior based on privacy calculus theory and expectation confirmation theory.This study validated the formation pathway of the privacy paradox,which included"privacy concern-continuous disclosure intention-continuous disclosure behavior."Additionally,the study introduced rationality degree as a moderating variable to explore its mitigating effect on the privacy paradox.The study collected 951 samples through a scenario-based experiment and conducted an empirical analysis using a hybrid approach that combined Structural Equation Modeling(SEM)and Fuzzy-set Qualitative Compara-tive Analysis(fsQCA).[Result/Conclusion]The study finds that perceived risk negatively affects expectation confirmation,whereas perceived benefit positively affects both expectation confirmation and continuous privacy disclosure intention.The path coefficients of"privacy concern-continuous disclosure intention-continuous disclosure behavior"are positive and sig-nificant,with continuous disclosure intention playing a complete mediating role.Additionally,expectation confirmation positively influences privacy concern,suggesting that although the privacy paradox exists,its impact remains relatively minor.Rationality degree negatively moderates the relationship between privacy concern and continuous disclosure inten-tion,indicating that it partially mitigates the privacy paradox.From a configurational perspective,the study identifies five distinct paths that influence continuous privacy disclosure behavior:perceived benefit-driven,perceived risk-driven,pre-expectation confirmation calculation,post-expectation confirmation trade-off,and rationality-driven approaches.关键词
