Knowledge Discovery in Historical Documents Based on Multilayer_Networks+GIS From the Perspective of Digital Humanities

Abstract
[Purpose/Significance]The multidimensional data information can provide richer research perspectives and knowledge services for knowledge discovery of historical documents.The traditional network analysis in existing research is limited by the constraints of data dimensions,so there is an urgent need for network analysis methods that can support multidimensional data and multiple type correlations to energize knowledge discovery of historical documents.[Method/Process]This article proposed a knowledge discovery model for historical documents based on the PLM-NERE-MMNs architecture,and improved the classic multilayer networks.Based on the proposed model,empirical research was conducted on the historical newspaper documents of the Northwest Liberation major campaigns.[Result/Conclusion]The research results indicate that the improved multilayer networks can effectively represent multidimensional information in historical documents,which helps to discover potential knowledge beyond the scope of documents.The historical docu-ments knowledge discovery model proposed in this study,based on the PLM-NERE-MMNs architecture,provides a new method and perspective for the historical documents knowledge discovery from the perspective of digital humanities.关键词
