Abstract

Regarding the spatial scale conversion model based on fractal theory,its parameters exhibit temporal variability,which introduces errors in studying the scale effects of land features.To address this,modeling time series data is proposed to enable the application of fractal parameters on a temporal scale.The Gobi region in Bayannur City,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,is selected as the study area.Spatiotemporal scale conversion models are constructed for the reflectance of each band in cloud-free GF-1 Wide Field View(WFV)images from 2015 to 2020,following fractal theory.Results show that it is feasible to explore the temporal regularity of spatial scale changes,and the spatiotemporal scale conversion model constructed using the GF-1 W FV red band achieves the optimal fitting effect.The mean reflectance of the Gobi region increases with scale upscaling.The spatiotemporal scale transformation model constructed based on the GF-1 W FV red band in the study area indicates that the reflectance in the Gobi region is correlated with temporal scales,exhibiting a positive correlation with time.
