PCDM:A Parametric Constrained Data Model for Field Geological Data Acquisition

Abstract
As regional geological surveys and resource-environment assessments in China advance toward greater precision and informatization,traditional field data collection methods reliant on paper records or single-purpose software struggle to meet the demands for efficient integration of cross-disciplinary,multi-scale,and multi-source information.To address this need,a Parametric Constrained Data Model(PCDM)for field geological data collection is proposed.Using this model as the core framework,a geological field data acquisition system is constructed.Through a three-tiered framework-"MainTable-TableSet-RelationTable"-multisource geological elements such as survey points,routes,and profiles are uniformly abstracted.Combined with a field-level"hexad"constraint mechanism,spatial attributes,professional semantics,and collection interaction logic are deeply coupled,enabling rapid compilation and hot updates of the"model-as-system"paradigm.Taking digital surface matrix surveys as a case study,PCDM reduces the cycle time for field tasks—from requirement confirmation to usable system delivery—from weeks to hours,significantly improving the timeliness of geological application system updates and data consistency.Practice demonstrates that PCDM provides a low-code,sustainably scalable digital collection solution for applications such as digital surface matrix surveys and carbon sink projects.This holds practical significance for advancing China's geological surveys from"digitalization"to"intelligentization.".关键词
