摘要

Abstract

To address the issue of unclear stress distribution effects on the tubesheet,heat exchanger tubes,and shell-side cylinder,as well as difficulty in determining critical working conditions in the design of N-type fixed tubesheet heat exchangers with expansion joints,a structural analysis method based on GB/T 4732-2024 was employed.A comparative analysis was conducted on the variation patterns of axial displacement in the heat exchanger tube bundle and shell-side cylinder before and after installing expansion joints,clarifying their maximum stress conditions.The results show that the critical working condition for expansion joints is generally"ps positive pressure+pt positive pressure+positive thermal expansion difference";during design verification,the expansion joint displacement should be calculated based on the total axial force,which includes the axial force induced by pressure,rather than considering only the force on the straight section of the expansion joint.This research provides a theoretical basis and engineering reference for the rational design and safety verification of fixed tubesheet heat exchangers equipped with expansion joints.
