Abstract
To address the issues of low efficiency and poor quality stability in manual welding of fully penetrated tube-to-tubesheet joints in thin tubesheet waste heat boilers,a combined process scheme using manual gas tungsten arc welding(GTAW)for root pass and automatic gas metal arc welding(GMAW)for filling and capping passes is proposed.The results show that this scheme successfully achieves high-quality full penetration welding,with welding efficiency reaching 3~6 times that of manual welding,and has accomplished product manufacturing and years of stable operation.The study provides practical basis and reference for the mature application of automatic GMAW technology in pressure vessel tube-to-tubesheet welding.关键词
