兰州市两次局地短时暴雨过程对比分析
Comparative Analysis of Two Local Short-time Rainstorm Processes in Lanzhou

Abstract
Using conventional observe data,10-minute interval automatic station data,doppler weather radar data,satellite cloud imagery,and ERA5 hourly reanalysis data,a comparative analysis was conducted on two short-time rainstorm process that occurred in the main urban area of Lanzhou on 25 June 2022(hereinafter referred to as"6·25")and 11 July 2022(hereinafter referred to as"7·11").The results indicate that:(1)The 10-minute rainfall variation during the"6·25"event exhibited a unimodal distribution lasting approximately 1 hour,while the"7·11"event showed a bimodal distribution with a duration of about 40 minutes.(2)The"6·25"event was associated with an eastward-moving plateau trough,whereas the"7·11"event occurred under the influence of the subtropical high.Both events involved moisture transport from the Bay of Bengal;however,the"7·11"event also received moisture from the South China Sea,exhibiting stronger moisture transport intensity,greater moisture convergence,and higher absolute humidity compared to the"6·25"event.Additionally,during the"7·11"event,atmospheric convective instability,the strength of the ascending motion center,and the extension height were all significantly stronger.(3)The"6·25"event was triggered by the merging and intensification of β-mesoscale convective systems,with a horizontal scale of about 20 km,a lifespan of approximately 1 hour,and radar echo intensities reaching 55 dBZ.The heavy rainfall occurred in regions of low TBB.In contrast,the"7·11"event was caused by multiple γ-mesoscale convective cells,with horizontal scales less than 10 km,and lifespans under 1 hour,showing radar echo intensities around 50 dBZ and a"train effect".The heavy rainfall during this event corresponded to regions with high TBB gradients.关键词
