摘要

Abstract

The southwestern region of China hosts metallogenic belts with vast resource potential and abundant oil and gas resources,making it the primary focus area for the national"Prospecting Breakthrough Strategic Action".Long-term regional geophysical surveys have preliminarily established models of geophysical property structures in this region,including density,magnetic susceptibility,and electrical resistivity.These models provide crucial support for in-depth research on fundamental geological issues and the deep dynamic mechanisms of mineralization,hydrocarbon accumulation,and disaster genesis,leading to significant progress and achievements.Based on the management of geological survey projects in Southwest China by the China Geological Survey and the understanding gained from geological investigations,this paper systematically reviews the extent of regional geophysical survey work in Southwest China,including gravity,aeromagnetics,and magnetotelluric baseline networks.It particularly summarizes previous research utilizing regional gravity and magnetic fields,as well as electrical conductivity fields,to investigate deep tectonic settings,mineral prospectivity,and seismogenic environments.The paper asserts that regional geophysical fields constitute fundamental data for deepening our understanding of the evolution of the Qingzang(Tibet)Plateau and its southeastern margin,as well as their resource and energy implications.They also offer new perspectives for analyzing the mechanisms of earthquake nucleation.Furthermore,this paper provides an outlook on the future deployment of regional geophysical survey work and research trends in Southwest China.It is intended to serve as a reference for regional geophysical survey research and decision-making in the area.
