摘要

Abstract

In order to further analyze and confirm Brucella species affecting cattle and sheep in Minqin County,Gansu Province,and to assess the risk of brucellosis occurrence,198 clinical samples collected from abortive cattle and sheep were detected for nucleic acids using qPCR,of which positive samples were distinguished for wild or vaccine strains,and Brucella species were identified based on selected positive samples using a multiplex PCR assay.The results showed that 47/198 samples were positive for Brucella nucleic acids,including 36 wild strains and 11 vaccine strains,29/177 whole blood samples and 18/21 swab and tissue samples were positive;3 positive Brucella melitensis and 1 positive Brucella abortus were identified from 4 positive samples of wild strains.In conclusion,Brucella melitensis and Brucella abortus were prevalent in cattle and sheep in Minqin County,with a high risk of brucellosis occurrence,which should be reduced through strict control measures.A reference was provided for future implementation of comprehensive control measures such as immunization and eradication against brucellosis across the county.
