Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of hyaluronic acid and stromal vascular fraction-gel filling on hand function and quality of life in patients with finger atrophy after finger replantation. Methods A total of 102 patients with finger atrophy after replantation admitted to our department from January 2020 to January 2024 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into a fat graft group and a hyaluronic acid group, with 51 cases in each group, and the atrophic finger bodies of the two groups were filled with stromal vascular fraction-gel glue and hyaluronic acid, respectively. One month after the filling, the hand function[Michigan Hand Outcomes Questionnaire(MHQ)],two-point discrimination, quality of life(Barthel Index),excellent and good rate of hand function(functional evaluation criteria for replantation of severed fingers by the Chinese Medical Association Society of Surgery),and complications were assessed in both groups, and statistical comparisons were made. Results One month after the filling, the fat graft group had lower pain scores than the hyaluronic acid group, but higher scores in appearance, daily activities, work performance, hand function satisfaction, and overall hand function(P<0.05).The fat graft group also had a higher Barthel Index and shorter two-point discrimination distance than the hyaluronic acid group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the excellent and good rate of hand function recovery or the incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Stromal vascular fraction-gel filling is better than hyaluronic acid in improving hand function and quality of life in patients with finger atrophy after finger replantation, and it is safe and worthy of clinical recommendation.关键词
