Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of medical tissue glue on wound healing and scar formation after facial tumor resection.Methods Totally 86 patients with facial tumors in the hospital were selected from April 2020 to April 2023,and were divided into cosmetic suture group(n=41)and tissue adhesive glue group(n=45)according to the treatment methods selected by the patients.The treatment waiting time,treatment time,wound healing time,wound healing status,pain degree[Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)],scar degree[Patient and Observer Scar Assessment Scale(POSAS)],comfort score[General Comfort Questionnaire(GCQ)],patient appearance satisfaction and adverse adverse complication were compared between groups.Results The treatment waiting time,treatment time and wound healing time in the tissue adhesive glue group were shorter than those in cosmetic suture group(P＜0.05),and the wound healing was better than that in the cosmetic suture group(P＜0.05),and the VAS score was lower(P＜0.05).The OSAS score and PSAS score were lower in the tissue adhesive glue group than those in the cosmetic suture group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the scores of items of physiology,psychological spirit,environmental dimension and social culture dimension of GCQ score in the tissue adhesive glue group were higher than those in the cosmetic suture group(P＜0.05).The appearance satisfaction of patients in the tissue adhesive glue group was significantly higher compared with that in the cosmetic suture group(P＜0.05).The incidence rates of adverse adverse complication in the tissue adhesive glue group were lower than those in the cosmetic suture group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Tissue adhesive glue in the treatment of wounds after facial tumor resection can effectively improve the wound healing,reduce the degree of pain,enhance the patient comfort and appearance satisfaction,reduce the occurrence of adverse adverse complication,and effectively improve the scar properties after wound healing.关键词
